041 AV FB showed up on my doorstep last night. Didn't have chance to hide it, my wife got to it first haha. Grabbed a couple Disstons yesterday as well. Have to go to the dealer tomorrow to pick up a chain for my 540, hopefully he will hide everything when I walk in...

If you feel like unloading a project Mike.....Me likey 51/55's :)
Seriously, did Wiggs just say that? :dizzy: He does realize thats a Husky?

Got a very used 075 dumped in my lap last night. Cant beat free.
Lucky. I missed out on a 076, a dollar short and a day too late :( I figured that would be a great saw for the CSM Im planning
Congrats on the new toy

And congrats to everybody else.

I am expecting a big orange one very shortly. Mostly just waiting on parts for saws to show up

Yep....I have kinda devoloped a soft spot in fixin them 51/55's. Dont be too shocked though, the last one I fixed up, I gave away. Cant contaminate the herd like that. LOL.

Well, at least I'll know where to turn when I get stumped on this one!!!

You wouldn't have a good choke rod laying around would you???

Mike

I hope this weekend to be getting RID of the last of my stihl's :)

Sure dont. But them things are everywhere, so it shouldn't be hard to find. There pretty good running saws to boot, even though they are solid orange.

I am on parts hold with my projects (husky 51 and 350). Are the rest of you like me? You start to "the jones" for something to work on when all your saws are up and running? I think I am going to go see a local dealer about a Poulan 655 that I seen in his junk pile. He says it has a leaky fuel tank.

That's right. You don't want to risk committing missawgenation........:greenchainsaw:

Cant have them little Stusky's runnin around fo sho...

That the one you did up for your friend?

Guess you Stihl heads arent too bad. :)

Yep. It was a pawn shop find with a bad fuel line and a burnt P&C. Thanks to the generosity of some forum members, I was given the parts to make her run again, and also some very nice plastic parts as well. It made a nice runner, and pulled an 18" with that "sissy chain" (.325) very well. :)

Yes, I keep collecting projects because everybody says, "oh give me 20$"
I counted 1 Orline, 3 Macs, 1 Falls, 1 Mercury, 2 Huskys, 1 Jred, 2 stihls. And theres more upstairs that I am hunting parts for.

Goodluck on the 655.

Stihl workin out the details for a Running Pioneer Nu-17.:cheers:
Hope he makes up his mind tomorrow. When it happens will post pics and video.
