I'm kinda getting nervous now. Wondering if I'll regret this move. You see running this saw (muff mod only) tends to make my other saws jealous and seemingly obsolete in anything normal firewood size. Sure teh 372 is better for felling and bucking big stuff, but cutting red oak and a buddies log pile we both had to assk why a guy would need anything more for the task at hand? And this was with factory chain that needs the rakers trimmed just a bit to get past the conservative setting...

"Did i make a mistake?"

id sure say you did..
could have had about 4 of these for the same cost of that overpriced, glorified poulan you just bought

congrats on the new saw - I would predict that your 345 and 359 won't be seeing too much use from now on!

I love my 346xp, it is the perfect saw for 75% of the work I do. Would love a 372xp, but for the time being my 365 will do! When I get the time/money it will become a 372xp, but that's a little way off yet...

Congrats man. I know what ya mean. I remember runnin myn stock and was pleasantly surprised how strong it was. Then mdavlee modded it for me. He modded the muffler added an unlimited coil, widened the ports and took out the gasket. Oh my, what a difference. I love that saw. :chainsawguy:

That little saw ran good enough I had to mod my 2171. The 346 was within a half a second in small cants.

It's just totally impressive. I really do love that 346. They IMO, are a lot of fun to run. Kinda like a 372xpw, just somethin about those saws.....

Congrats on a fine saw, i know where your coming from with the zealous and obsolete statement. I feel the same way with a different member of my band, but around here there is really no such thing as a one saw plan!!! Is there? REJ2
