Can I get a 3/8 pitch chain and bar for an MS211? My dealer says they don't make a sprocket for the 211 with a 3/8 pitch chain.I'd like to run a 3/8 chain so it will be the same as my other saw.

Okay,
An MS 211 (i'm only guessing here) the biggest bar it can handle is a 14" maybbe 16", No 14" bar I've ever heard of had a 3/8's sprocket,
Also, I wouldn't advise you to run anything bigger then rapid micro.

If you are talking regular 3/8, I don't think they make a bar that would fit. I know its a gutsy saw but not that gutsy its only 35cc. On a 50cc saw you could probably get away with it. They do make a rim sprocket kit for it, but it is a 7 tooth picco rim.

Similar question the other day. The bar nose sprocket is also different tooth number too. So you're pretty much stuck with the micro (low profile) chains.
