Not a lot of pricing info out there yet, but i did find one place advertising them at almost $750. About $100 more than a Stihl 362. Now I'm as big a Husky fan as the next guy, but realistically a 60cc saw for $750 would cause me at least to think hard about bang for the buck. I havent quite reached disposable income status just yet, but i do like nice things. So you guys really think they'll sell like hotcakes for that price? Assuming thats for they sell for.

Assuming 750.00, I don't think they will sell that good. Thats a new 372 with a 20'' bar from my dealer.

I don't think they will fly off the shelves, but will have decent sales in a fair amount of time. I really like Stihl and Husqvarna products, but I think OPE is getting steep. No doubt this has quite a bit to do with EPA motivated technology, material cost, etc.
I would really like to get my paws on one, but personally couldnt justify $750 on a 60cc saw... just "because." That think had better cook too haha.

I'd like to get me one of these, but if it's priced at pretty much what I paid for my 2171, I'll pass for now.

If MSRP is $750, it will actually cost less. I know most Stihl dealers will give you some break on price. I am guessing most Husky dealers will also. That being said starting $50 to $100 more than the competition will always mean a higher price in the end.

I believe that price will change once they hit shelves.

I believe Spike once said that the MSRP will be 10 dollars more than the 357xp. Here, it looks like price will be exactly the same as the 357xp price (info from my dealer) - but Huskys aren't cheap here......

Hm... I like the sound of that.

Just remember that husky has been more expensive than stihl of late in this price point, for whatever reason. The 357 was more than a stihl 361, even when you were getting a very good deal on a 357.

Like most other imported goods from europe, the prices on husky/stihl stuff seems to continue to rise...

Forgot to say that it is about the 560xp here, not the 562xp.
It looks like they will offer both versions in Canada though.....

Time will tell, as usual!

Bah, that's the small-bar-mount thing we're getting, right? Was hoping both would be available.

Husky prices are generally much higher that Stihl ones here, as long as it is about pro models, but with the exception of the MS880 vs. 3120xp.

The 560xp have the small bar mount - the 562xp have the large one, and a larger air filter (that most will not need). I also assume that the 560xp will have a small spline clutch drum, and the 562xp a standard spline one - but there is no real evidence of that yet. :givebeer:

I can get a 372 for 800-850 around here. For 750, I'd just save up another 50-100 and get the 372. Thats an insane price for 60ccs.

That doesn't really matter, if it is the saw that fits your intended use best - and I don't think many dealers will charge that price .....;)

Bigger isn't always better! :rolleyes2:

It better cure cancer if it wants to beat out my 361, which was over 100 bucks cheaper when it was being sold. :msp_thumbsup:

Kind of tired of waiting and would rather have the 560xp, not the 562xp...

I don't really need a larger saw, but I might just get a 372xp. Since I already have a 357xp and the 346xp is about all I really need. :hmm3grin2orange:

What's MSRP on the MS362, not what you can get one for?

Wait, and see what they actually are sold for, before you conclude. ;)

I agree that the MS361 is a great 60cc saw though, and the 560xp is the first one that actually may be better....
