actually they were stock and went to a tree service in knoxville. when i sell a ported saw it usually goes to someone on this site or someone that has contacted me in need or want of a ported saw.

Still a desirable saw either way. Would have still been good to have grabbed one and had it ported. Just wasnt the right time. I heard from a reliable source (another builder) that you build a mean husky. Hope to meet you at the next TN GTG. My father-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 gleo plastoma brain cancer this past year and life is hectic dealing with that. It's a waiting game. I couldn't ask the wife to sneak away for a day. If Im not working- Im with family.

This 260 is the first saw I ever ported.

I don't see any of these saws killing this XP:)

Brad,
That xp is on another level:bowdown::bowdown:. Hardly a fair comparison! I've watched that video many times. Makes me want one. But Randy just took care of my 50cc fix, and $500 is half way there to the 2188 I want. Ive got every catagory covered except 80cc and up. Wish list 2101xp.

Thanks, but not really. This one here is just a standard woods port, stock carb and all.

Can you try again? English this time, please. On second thought, don't bother. :monkey:

this just keeps getting better and better and further and further into left field.

not from the recliner i didnt.lol tommorrow will be a diffent story though

I need a LOT more to drink for this crap!
So you weened down the mix to 2oz per gallon and managed to raise the compression on the 026 by pulling the base gasket, Yay for you! I bet it does run like a scalded ape! For now:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

no i didnt do anything to the ratio of castor. yes the base gasket is removed but that didnt get the compression up high enough. have you returned from the frig yet?

your saws look challenged enough. it looks to me to be more suited to cutting a loaf of bread.

So....what was this thread about?

Oh yea, Terry's 026 is an XP killer. It is a bad little saw for sure. I run her a few times and loved it.

CWME, your's looked good too. Brads 346 was impressive. The OP's saw was rather slow looking IMO. I'd hate to see what a 346 would do to that saw. Put a 36" bar on the 346 just to make it a fair race.
