24'' bar in white oak that measured 20'' is what i checked every saw in when they arrived to make sure they were tuned for the gas and yes i had a stop watch in hand. i also used the same chain to test them all. i did have the results from all that testing written down just to see how it compared to the resluts of the build off. needless to say the build off results were not in line with those findings.

Pffffffffft.

All these AS sponsors can argue till they are blue in the face about who's the best sponsored builder. But everyone knows I build the best 372, and no you can't have one.

now that wasnt nice, were just having fun and you had to go and do that and hurt peoples feelings :ices_rofl:

Now children I am going to start loosing respect for my favorite builders if this pissing match continues. The next thing we know you guys will be comparing the lengths of your own little bars. lol Now quit arguing before I have to send you both to your rooms.

Tlandrum may have run a stock saw for comparison. I bet a stock saw would have been almost double those times. A ported 372 walks all over a stock 372. It is amazing how well they wake up with some aluminum removed and re-tuned.

you can generally expect about a 40% gain from any of us that are sponsors building saws. we just like to poke fun and pick at each other and hope noone takes us serious. if we cant have fun picking at one another then it aint no fun anymore.

allright will i know you didnt just go there lol

hah aha. OH, I think I JUST DID!!

Some of you guys jut need to answer the damn question. He asked for more power and if he should get a 390 or get his ported. He didn't ask how to tune it or what kind of wood he's cutting.
