My breaker and spinner are both mounted on each end of a 2x8 about 24 inches long.
The dies and extra parts holding areas are routered in the wood. I break and spin 1/4 to 3/4 with it so have several size components for each unit.
goes anywhere I want it and works great.

I have been working on the mounts for my spinner and breaker for a while and will post photos when done. Using rare earth magnets to keep all of my punches and spinner anvils from walking away.

Board is actually a 2x6. Bolt holes are countersunk on bottom.
When you dont have enough bench space to dedicate to the tools this is the best way to go.
I also have a place where I lay out the chain DL charts to measure count for cutting
but dont leave them glued down. (I like to keep them clean.)

Looks like box store saws. Can't see the Husky, but it could be also.
Heres my beef: most of those cheap, box store saws come with blow molded plastic cases. How come I never see those cases at garage sales after the saws burn up and die? That photo shows several of them. I would be glad to pay $10 for one, and have no problem with putting a nice saw in the case from a cheap one - might even discourage theft!

Yeah, most of the saws shown in the photo wouldn't be worth messing with unless they just needed a simple (cheap) going over. My thinking is theyd be worth it if you got two or three worthwhile saws for $110.00.

this is my first post here, after being offered half a dozen chances to "dance within the lines" while attempting to register. i am likely too dumb to get here in the first place, and darwin is alive and well in the registration office....but here goes...
found the link for this saw (1636 skilsaw) here, interesting construction for older saw with anti-vibe and electronic ignition. two rings and light all metal construction (except starter sprocket) also. anyone know more about this saw?
