I assume so. I haven't run either, but spoke to a husky dealer about it. It seems like the standard Husky tradition of making a "non-pro" sibling to a pro saw, that is the same size or bigger displacement, pro construction and a little less power, due to less aggressive porting. eg. 357xp/359, 346xp/353, etc.

P&C are identical, except for a minor intrusion in the transfer covers on the 365. The 365 has the low top filter and covers as well. If you got a good dealer, you can get the high top filter, filter mount and cover for $60 or so, and can grind out the blockage in the transfer covers and viola, instant 372.

I have done ground out the divider in the external ports and tried the saw for a while but ended up selling it. Just did'nt replace my 460 like I thought it would. (Kinda hiding in the closet waiting on the 461 lol)

Well a stock the 372xp or xt will not run with a 460, how could it? the 460 is 76.5 cc the 372 is 71cc. Now I love the 372 for many reasons, but the 460 will simply have more power out of the box, you really can't compare the two in power. Now if you port both saws I'd say the 372 is stronger, and ports better than the 460. If you want something to truly replace you're 460 look at a 7900 or 390xp.

Ive only built 3 of the XT's, and they are fantastic runners, and definetly have more low RPM power, or lugging power, than the 460, but in a stop watch cut, a good built 460 would be a tough for an XT to beat.

Not trying to start a war by no means but I just run factory saws not ported and the 460 is just where it's at for me. I went right past the 390 and bought the 395.

The only stock saw that will outrun a 460 in the 70cc realm I know of, is the 7900. Out of the box no 372 will IMHO. The 441cm can't and it's stronger than any stock 372. Again the 460 is a bigger saw end of story.

Not today, but the old 75cc XPW was pretty close to a 460, stock to stock. Not sure why Husky doesn't have 75cc's in the new 372 XT, or even the 576 for that matter.
