At a stand still until the diesel skid loader will start:angry: Have wood to cut but nothing accessible of any size.

I feel like I need one of these.....good work Mitch.

Over all, I think this would be a great alternative to the 7910 you've been eyeballing. It is that strong stock with very low fumes. Easy on the eyes as well ;)

Has anyone timed a 461 vs 7900/7910 in the same log?? Does the 461 out pull the 460? any videos?

No experience against the 7900/10. We did run the 461 in the same log of a strong 460. The 61 came out ahead. Hedgerow may remember more on the timed specifics.

My 461 is slower in small stuff ,get the fir logs over 24 inches then the we tourque of the 461 makes it faster

Ya you can really ham fist these things stock. No learning curve to the power band....grip and rip

The 461 is going to be my next 70cc saw. It's the strongest I've run any brand.

I don't have timed cuts but you can push on them like a 90 cc saw. My xpw came home and hid.

Is that fact, or just how you feel? I'm not trying to say you're wrong, I just don't recall seeing any numbers vs other comparable models.

I to would like to see some time numbers but all I have is seat of the pants. Going off that alone, I can not make an argument against his statement. Its no secret I'm no Stihl fan boy to boot.

I would buy one over a 576 or 7900 at this point.

That had been my expierence as well in oak the torque is incredible, much stronger than my 460 before it was ported, I can't wait until the 461 CM rolls out, I think we will see it sell better than the 660 in our part of the country.
