Guys, make sure you're running a good anti-virus, and run regular full scans. Noscript also helps so that you can allow only the correct scripts for the site.
As for their network security, I agree that they need to hire a pro to secure things. Or better yet, move to a managed server that is always kept patched and secure. Still, I think that vbulletin was the hacker's entry point, and they have left backdoors.
