I tried to search using google but the old thread links keep coming up to the old site so it's not working too well for me. I think I did see your 245A at the GTG. I wish I'd asked.

Geeez, Tim, I had my 245A at the GTG also, even ran it! Where were you? Having a nap with Mike & Nik? LOL :D You old geezer!

Gregg,

WTH?????? I have been gone for a little over 2 weeks and y'all done screwed this up.......When I left we were on page 1965 or so and now we are down to 1471 and I hate this new page design..... I can't trust anybody any more.....Anyhow the only saws I saw being used in Italy were Husqvarna's and didn't see but a couple of those....Everyone stay safe out there.....

Welcome back, weary world traveler! We may have lost some pages in cyber world somewhere, could be the New software arranges them differently, who knows. While you were gale-banting around Europe, we were here battling "Linkbucks" etc. What you see now is what rose from the ashes...:D

I think Mark needs to do a couple full restore features on a couple old Poulans, to get the interest and page count back up. LOL

Gregg,

Hi fellow hoser. Check out my new to me one above.
Hey Tim, Looks good, how did you get it past "her indoors"? It's great to have this site back up and running. My latest is an Echo cs440 missing chain break for only $45.00. Seems to be very low hours! I really like my 520 even without a muff mod.

Regards,

Lee

Heck Lee,
Talk about a geezer moment, I don't even know what the picture was anymore.

I think the number of pages may have gone down due to the extra space created when pics from peoples hard drives got lost. The ones uploaded from Photobucket and the like seem to still be there in the few I checked.
I miss the "go to page#" function as it is now very difficult to get back to early posts without going 5 pages at a time unless I'm missing where that function is.
The old page number bookmarks are worthless now.

say ya all happen to know what the number is for a poulan 2300 cva clutch or in that line up since they all fit.... had to clean my hard disk and forgot to back up all the pdf files i had saved ....thanks...

I have my new trail saw up and running really well. I just needed to get the new and approved oil pickup / pump grommet so it would oil. Added another muffler port.
It's a mullet saw.

Business on the trails cutting and clearing by day

And Party all night! (or at least 'til 9:00pm)

Good little saws Tim. Good to see you modded the muffler also.

Ay
I have a Pp295 coming with low comp(90). Other than that real nice shape. Likely needs rings and who knows what else. Will have to wait however as I'm off to Vermont Monday for 10 days. Deer hunting. Hope they stay off the porch and don't bother me.

One good thing about the 295 parts are cheap and there are plenty of them around.

Nothing like a good hunt to get your mind on other things and forget about the world. There is something about the isolation of being out in the woods with no TV or radio.

That number is correct. Good to see ya on the forum.
yea to bad they are not available any more LOL.... is there one that will work thats current?and thanks ive been trying to get on for awhile kept getting the line buck thing

Got another sandcast all done. No badging, but it's a 72. New seals, bearings, rings and stuff.

Not sure what the story is behind that handlebar. I have a one-piece welded type as well that bolts on. Looking thru the IPLs, it seems the only real difference between the 72 and Super 72 is the handlebar. Who really knows??

Not to mention beer

Nice saw Chris. I have my compressor hooked up and my welder. Send that part, It will motivate me to get the rest of my tools out and get on the ball again.
