331 kilo Mako caught 500m off main beech in port Macquarie, caught on 15 kilo line.
The kids swim on main beech, scary thought.
Been a lot of bull sharks sighted in the river as well, some well over 6 foot.

4 days of over 42 flippty i've gone mental..... I wus gonna do some reloading for 300yard & 303 fun day Sat but sheds an oven so wiiny 55g bulk will do
Fires n crisis all bout Vic the sky gone yellow and if no rain they'll burn for some days.
Customers during the hot week went all nutty nut jobs, I had weird complaints uppty to here and it was never nuthin to do with trees or work just hot grumpy sleepless bitchin

I have read about that in WA, tendering for the job now.
This one was caught this week on day 2 of the local Golden Lure fishing classic at Port Macquarie. It took 1 1/2 hours of playing to bring it to the boat for the gaff.
This guy is reported to of caught 17 big sharks over 300 kilos around Port Macquarie over the years.

Great catch for sure but its a bit close to where my kids swim for me.

Can recall surfing at some heads in Port Mac many years ago, sorry can't recall the name, and feeling a tad uneasy, like I should be getting out of the water. Just one of those gut feelings. Great part of the coast up that way. Well, it was, but I don't know if the inevitable has happened and every man and his dog bought in and it's not so good nowadays?

I was given notice of being made redundant ten days ago and I thought I would start working for myself

I got three job interviews in the first three days. I have accepted one of those offers, so I had to go back to my company and ask them to make me redundant sooner.

It is nice to be needed when unemployment is rising.
