Speaking brewing diesel,,,, I was given over 2000 litres of cooking oil (unstrained) from a bloke who allowed one of his nephew's to brew some. ,,, yep it all went ok and was running on farm machinery with it, even commented once what a good job the young bloke was doing.... Long story short, ended up replacing a 135 fergy pump, then his old fordson pump and that was the end of that. I use it every day in my mill operation and simply strain out the lumpy bits.
matt has a lump in the front of his nickers (undies) and 469cixy says he's got a tight arse not sure i want to know where this is go'n
Ya may have to put them in a fridge if ya coming all the way down here, maybe should bring ya sleeping gear as well.
A couple of saws as well.
If its filtered well and has no water in it then its ok in older diesels. What are you useing the oil for?
I'm using it to paint on the ends of the sawn packs instead of timber sealer. It works ok and seems to help even tho its not as good as timber sealer. Its also gets used on skids ect.
I think it was working well before the pump trouble began, he owns a petrol Jeep and a small car so it was only used on old farm gear. Once the pumps needed replacing he said enough and gave the oil to me and burned what fuel he had left so no one else would suffer the same problem.
Guessing the young bloke changed the way he brewed it or just got a bit lazy and stopped doing it properly.
I'm impressed so far on only 3 tanks of gas. Been cutting blugum so far today and it does everything it needs to do. It certainly holds the revs better than the 066's that I am used to.
You guy's are 110% correct about this saw killing a stock MS660. All I can really say is WOW.
Yes the beast is second hand, was lucky enuff to get from a fellow AS site member.
Damn thing came that close to brand new in condition that its actually hard to believe that its sold as a 2nd hand saw.
The guy that sold it must have never used it
