A service manual for the Lightning, nice! First time I've seen it and I have been wondering if it would exist. Did you by any chance scan the contents?

Does anyone know where these 1109 parts went?

Although they are advertised as 090G parts, clearly these are Contra gear drive cases. I REALLY! like that spike on the first case halve. I already contacted mr. Dougan (last year) to try and track them down but he couldn't tell me more than that he did not have them anymore.

Did anyone here buy this stuff and may want to part with the spike for a good price?

Now here's one i'm putting back in one piece serial no 114 1026 it has the early crank and rod assy two piece unit the crankcase is a dirty white colour more like a green tinge to it not the normal white disregard the top shroud as it a chinese unit to keep the dust out now was it a 070/090 or later contra

Ps this could be like grandmas axe and I'd like to get it back to what it origionally was

Looking at the raised serial number pad, I'd say 070/090.
