A nice combo of easy splitting, fast seasoning and still OK BTU's in wattle. Are you seasoning and retailing it or selling it on green or seasoned or?

Took a bit of experimenting but worked out a way to dry turning blanks pretty quick without them splitting, but it's top secret. Created a fair bit of firewood figuring it out though.

Going to let it season under a line of pines. We already sold 2 trailer loads to cover expenses and want to keep enough for ourselves for next season.

Its not just the noobs though, its the entire herd of modders that know all. Used to be that mod guys knew what they were doing. Now its grind and hope. There are over a hundred of them now I guess?

Everybody that has read a porting thread or found a porting video on Youtube is the latest gun builder. Didn't you know that?

Yes. This Moody guy was/is a classic case. Forked up several grinds big time, and people still send him saws to build? WTF? Also the guys that post long build threads are giving away all the secrets. We (the USA) made that mistake with the Japanese, and they took over the auto industry.

I have had guys PM me wanting me to port their saws and grind jugs and pistons for them. I only port and grind my own saws, thank you. There is the issue of the legality of porting saws for other people with the new EPA laws, and there is the issues of dealing with moronic customer demands and all that. Never mind the litigation issues if a guy cuts his arm off with a saw that you ported. Its an underground shadow industry here.
