I wonder if they were using your pics like I have seen my saws used on ebay before in for sale ads. When I ask they would say their saw is like the saw in pic. Still not right using our pics in the forums though.

I have bought from the seller before and was legit.

The principle is certainly the same, but it's another league when he's trying to sell a $1700 saw with pictures of a different saw, and saying that the pics are of his saw.

It will be interesting to see if that is what is really going on. Things don't look too good for him. I also noticed that the reply defending him in all caps has been removed by someone. Doesn't mean anything except we all have our hearing back.

I have bought many parts and had excellent service with this seller in the past. Before you guys get the torches and pitchforks out shouldn't we at least be 100% sure before we go destroying someone's reputation and business. If he is being fraudulent he deserves it however. I just like to be absolutely sure in cases like this

I have had this problem with several sellers on eBay, they used picts of saws I own and had posted picts of on here and other forums. Each time I came across one of my saws pictured in adds on eBay I contacted the seller and had them change the wording to," selling a saw like the one in the pict".

I don't think there is any doubt as to who actually owns the saw in the pics.

Unless it is clearly stated that the picture is not of the actual item, it is fraud pure and simple. No excuses.

It could be a lazy employee.
I know he is responsible.
But owner may not know.

Im not questioning that the pics arent brads. This particular seller has gone out of his way to answer questions i had even if it didnt lead to a sale. That experince is what ked me believe something may be off. And I may be wrong. Its possible that his account may have been have been hacked, stranger things have happen ed. Ive dealt with scammers as a buyer and seller and am not downplaying the situation. I just make damn sure my accusations are accurate. brad has every right to a straight answer

Let me weigh in on my recent experience with this yahoo...I was cruising ebay last Saturday night, I see a NIB MS260, NIB MS460 and a really sweet MS440R with 28" E-Light bar all fro R-E power Equipment. Long story short, the wife was sleeping so I clicked Buy it Now for the ultimate trio. Sent the seller an e-mail asking for combined shipping total and letting him know I would pay him Monday. I get an e-mail back a half hour later saying, "I'm sorry, I cannot wait that long to get paid" and proceeds to re-list the saws. WTF? Somebody else then used buy it now on them through the course of the next 2 days. he then re-listed the re-listed auctions. Confused?? I e-mailed him back and did not hear anything for a day or so, dug up a phone number, called, no answer. Emailed him Tuesday or wednesday and asked what was going on, pointing out he has now waited longer for his money than he would have had to. He said they sold but the buyer could not pay for them and I could still buy them if i wanted to, it was up to me...I got nervous and said screw it and left them go...Boy am I glad I did not send any money. The whole thing seems really shady of late. I have seen their auctions on ebay for some time and feedback is excellent so who knows what the real story is.

Maybe you're new to ebay but on a Buy it Now they usually require immediate payment. That's how I have mine set up. The best way to do that would be to wait until Monday and purchase it.
