Hey Guys got a mate that wants to fix up and old 026. It needs a new piston apart from just measuring it is there an easy way to know if it needs a 44mm or 44.7 mm piston ? I don't think his caliper is accurate enough.

If the serial number is before 2 62 187 362 then it is 44mm. After that it is 44.7mm. I have 44mm kits here if you need one. How's my 5100-S going? :)

Going great, after replacing the magneto it's in melb with a mate I used it with him the other day handy to have a good saw down there when I get asked to do work for family etc.
Also got the 372xp going again with the chinese bottom end I prefer it to my 576xp. (anyone interested)
I read back in page 850 odd you might be able to get hold of old 200t that are straight gassed. My 200t is getting old so keep me in mind I'm not getting a 201t even if modded weight is the issue.
I'll get back to you with the 026 serial number
Cheers for the info
