Well no muffler mod yet, haven't had much time the last couple days, but cleaned her up tonight, thing is in great shape! I even found a spot where someone used touch up paint on a little spot that must have gotten a scratched. Shade of green is almost a prefect match. Kind of funny.

Saw is n great shape. Wonder if it was painted by previous owner?

I don't think so, paint looks original to me. I don't think it was used much, even the outside of the motor is really clean too.

I found another 3400 locally that I'm going to pick up tomorrow for $30. I haven't seen it but apparently it is in good shape cosmetically and runs. We'll see tomorrow!

Quick question, so I was just out starting the 3400, cause its new and I wanted to start it up again :). I thought I had the idle and h/l screws set correctly earlier in the week, but just now when I started the saw up and go to rev the saw it bogs down for just a second before it takes off. What adjustment is needed to get rid of that initial split second bog?
