The more you post the more you make yourself look ignorant. You made mention to a search for the definition of the term "reading comprehension". I might suggest you search for the actual meaning of the word ignorant. You have proven your ignorance in your posts. As I asked earlier did you read post 25?

What does that really mean,?? when a thread gets locked it is done correct? I have seen this hundreds of times and it led me to believe that if I made a post and the thread got locked I could be on the " INSIDE" HA HA insert evil scientist laugh. I have done the," in b4 the lock" and when she is locked,.. it is all over...right? or am I missing something? If the thread continues and there is a way to see it let me in on the secret.

Yep, once it's locked it's locked, there's no backstage party happening if you've posted to the thread. In B4 the lock is just an acknowledgement the thread has gone to %$@T.
 
So as I stated earlier, I had just inquired about 044 parts from Bryce (cheapchainsawparts) the day before I heard about this story.
I do not know the guy personally, but I remember him from the early days when he was a small ebay store, and I actually opened up my 044 question to him with "Hey CheapStihlParts!" and that I remembered him from the old days.

He replied to me right away like he always does, stating he didn't have any 10mm cylinders and pistons.

So last night I sent him a reply (this is all through ebay) expressing my skepticism that he was in fact running a big chop shop and that I hoped this would all work out for him, and he responded right away .... so here is his side of the story, such as it is:

Thank you - yes its a real mess here they went through over 700 units and found 6 that were supposedly stolen.
A million lies about it all through the paper - ya I wish I made $166,000 last year, I actually made about $66k.
Worst part is, I was working out of my house in a shop and now the city shut me down here and had to let my 3 workers go now they're scrambling AND I have 5 days to come up with a plan to move 8,000 sqft 20 tons of stock into a new place or suffer the fines.

12 years in the same spot grew from a desk and and a small garage. We mostly deal with saw shops buy all their parts saws trade ins and such, but we do advertise buying saws. Got one in I bought on ebay few months ago - an 088 great price on a new listing buy now. Its one of the ones they took had half the serial # ground off. We did not do it and it isn't our fault. They came to the shop with 40 police units - yelling on bull-horns come out with your hands up - guns pointed at us. Put me my wife my office manager and his wife all in handcuffs and in cop cars. The news portrays it out of proportion to sell news papers not to tell the truth.

I don't even know / ever heard of the guy but I believe him 100%. Think how easy it would be to have that happen. If you have several hundred saws maybe thousands who knows? do you really think he personally knew each saw owner really? Holy sheep dip ,...non story really, just a really bad out come for him at least for awhile. If he lived near me I would let him park a trailer full of stock on my land till he got squared away.

Another fine example of someone working to have a piece of the american dream that gets singled out.no wonder we're heading in the wrong direction in this country.its a shame some get buy with selling drugs and hooking babys everyday and get by with it.sell too many parts out of your living room and here you've went and broken a local law and they turn you into a complete and utter gangster.

I'm inclined to agree ... I've seen how this stuff gets blown out of all proportion.
Small town with their own federally funded SWAT ... welcome to the police state folks!
Anyway ... he hasn't been charged with ANYTHING.
He's cooperating with the police.
And now with the attention, he has to move his biz off of his own property.
 
Its really a shame. I hate to see someones reputation and business get destroyed before they are proven guilty of anything. We need to be careful about how we react to these kind of things. People love the opportunity to get in on a witch hunt, whether its justified or not. I always had good luck with him and he was my go to seller on ebay. I had some stuff saved on my watch list that i needed too..
 
Anymore Justice = Money.
#1 the justice system doesn't want mr.low life baby maker that won't work.no revenue coming in from fines probation payments etc. He is a burden that would have to be taken care of in an institution
#2 they want mr.home owner hard worker.fines,court costs,revenue is easily there for the taking.
The system has worked its way down from a true system that worked to help protect its citizens from harm to a revenue collector.
Where i live the hardworking guys (whats left of the good ol boys) that might drink a beer between jobs on a hot summer day get it the worst.lost license.$10,000 worth of fines to pay out of a $20,000 to $25000 annual income.have 2-3 kids putting them through school and feeding them.
I have seen this with my own eyes now.we have worthless dad,wife and three kids.he works at smurfin' cold pills.he gets caught.they turn him loose without bond until court day.they slap him on the wrist,11/29 probation $30 month fine.2 months later he gets caught manufacturing. Same situation.probation violation another 11\29.3 months later mr.meth head is wigging out beats hell out of his wife and kids.wrecks the only vehicle they have in the ditch......yeap you guessed it.another 11\29 probation.no hard time.just revolving doors on the court house.
This type of stuff makes my blood boil.
Just to let you all know i don't condone drinking and driving.i do know that a law is a law but sometimes a blind eye needs to be turned away from drug houses and towards respectable citizens minding their business and not hurting a soul.

You know i've been checking out the randy quaid thing lately.still don't know what to believe there but something don't seem right there.
