If you were in eastern Europe for a good length of time and had some free-time to look around for some saws, what would peak your interest?
Just buy a 560xp

288's,262's,560xp, oleo mac's, Solo 681's just to name a few.
Man that sucks to here. The old 962's and 965's are great. How about the new Efco 6500's?The new Oleo Macs are junk. I have worked on a few and the build quality and materials are just terrible.
Also, the 288 is still available in Brasil:

I was there not too long ago, too. Oh snap.

eastern europe can be poland, serbia, Slovakia....etc. that's too vague to recommend anything.
And for the dreamers : 288's, 262's, etc. are hot also here on the second hand market, and still go for a decent price. And new saws are way more expensive than in Uncle Sam's country.
the only thing I could think of are women and Wodka. If you empty the Wodka first, the women even look better !!!
