Wow, am I dated. Robert Plant is one of the very few names I recognize here. Sure draws a lot of performers though. Have fun!!

I hear ya Ray.

I listen to music all day in the shop when I work, so I get bored of the same old stuff. I've been listening to a lot of new and independent artists these days. There are some great bands out there that we older guys have never heard of.......just gotta dig in.

Thank you for sharing Randy, that fiddle player is great. I have never heard of this band, you are right got to get out more. I almost always have music on in the shop, but it is from iTunes that I downloaded years ago. Mostly SRV, Allman Bros, Allison Krause, ZZ, with a little Andres Bochelli/Sarah Brightman thrown in. I have to open iTunes up again.

Try Pandora Ray. I pay 4.00 a month, and have access to any genre of music my little heart desires.
Pandora is great! You can pretty much create your own stations. If you don't like a song, give it a thumbs down and they don't play it again. If you hear a new song you like, thumbs up and they find more like it to add to your station. It's pretty cool! I find no need to buy music anymore. In fact I just use the free pandora version. A few more commercials but way less than any radio station. [emoji106]

For those that want to know how to access Randy's station.
It took me all of 5 min to figure this out.
While in the pandora app, go to Feed, on the bottom on my iPhone.
Then type in mastermindworksaws with no spaces at the prompt.
Then you can see his stations and the songs he likes and even what he's listening to at the moment.
Kinda crazy!!!!
Technology.

Useless post:

My wife is a classically trained music major (oboe & English horn), and a music teacher, classroom and private lessons.

I, OTOH, am tone deaf and have the musical aptitude of a knat. A dog, with just a few lessons, could play guitar better than me.

Same here........but I truly love music. SO much respect for those that can play and sing well.

And those folks who actually know what all those weird scribbles  mean.

I actually lost my love for music once I tried to play and found out I have no musical aptitude. I rarely listen to music anymore, but I do occasionally enjoy live music, usually seeing friend's bands.
