Well, I have four PM700's and like them too, but would certainly sacrifice one to add a 7-10 to the stable.

Is there any chance this would work for a mc100 cart motor? I have a 740 with one installed. I need a piston for it.

This one is kind of ruff, the muffler is missing but I have a replacement. Not sure it is the right one but will fit. I am unsure what bar it has. I think it's Oregon like 16 or 18 inch. It ran but I would hate to pawn it off on someone in afraid it would be a dud. Looks like it was in a barn most of it's life.

The 7-10's run great and clear noodles well to boot. I have a late PM700 that runs very fast with a 24" bar buried.
Got my SP125c cylinder back from plating. Cannot wait to get it back together and get it in some wood. I have a question that maybe someone here can answer. I have everything to get it back together except the seals but they are on their way and the rod bearings. I cannot find rod bearings the same part number as what the IPL list. I can find the bearings for the 101B, they are listed under a different part number and I don't know if they are the same and just the part number is different because it is a kart engine or are they different all together? Wonder if anyone would know the answer.

nice!! i couldnt say for sure about the bearings but i do know mcculloch used alot of the same parts and pieces on alot or most of thier saws so id say they are probably going work

Brandon - Mc75/Mc100 kart engines are 2.240" bore, the 1-92/790/890 are 2.211" bore.

Thanks Mark. I took a chance and bought a set of 69891 off ebay that should be here tomorrow. That is nice to know. I can now get the crank and piston back together and new bearings for piston, rod and crank. I had one of the crank bearings that the outer race was broken in two. Straight across. All new seals and gaskets along with carb kit and rebuild. This saw should be as close to new as I can get it. All I am waiting on now is the seals.

My CP70L has thatfunky decomp
What i find works best is decomp lever out or open, throttle lock set, choke closed then pull until running and in one smooth move.... decomp closed throttle lock released equals a running saw!

The electric start saws use the same type lever operated DSP (De Stroking Port) or compression release to give the starter a chance to spin it over fast enough to spark and start.
My LG6 also has the thumb operated DSP.

Mark, I got it off ebay. Not sure who it was. The seller is Chainsawfun. I just noticed in your shop you have a dish washer. I have been thinking about one for my shop. Do you have hot water plumed into it? What soap do you use? Any tips?
Everyone wanted the 7-10 what about a 6-10. Anyone have any thoughts about it. I have one of those and a 1-10 setting on the shelf to be restored.

That is Roger Bennett.
I have a nice looking Super 6-10 but it doesn't get used much. I think the 7-10 has better porting but I can't confirm it.

I should be having a 795 coming my way soon. It needs some parts and work but I have a parts saw. I am super excited about it, I have always been wanting a 795.

I took down a small maple tree today for a neighbor, just over 16" at the base. Made a nice load in the Ranger and gave me another chance to make noise with the PM55.
