Found a local dealer that had one in Stock, and it doesn't feel hardly heavier than a 180. I even took some comparison pics. This dealer asked me $465, the dealer that has to order me one is $440 (plus I get it tax free through a friend's account)

After handling it, I was sold for sure. Man what a great feeling saw. How much to get it snellerized? :D

Thanks for asking, but I'm not taking any work.

Just for a teaser, here's what they're capable of.

hope your feeling better Brad. i do want a muff mod on my 241. i like the "gills";)

Thank you. Guess I'll go back to e-free 89.

A Husqvarna 445 is 2.8 hp and had an 18" bar. So shouldn't a 241 run an 18" just fine? Or is it best to just leave it at 16"?

Since I haven't gotten to fondle it up close to inspect it all, is the 241 Rim drive with 7t? Also since the M Tropic adjusts everything, can I muffler mod it straight out of the box?

I would run a 16" bar on it. You can get both rim and spur type sprockets, but no idea what rim size. Probably comes with the spur, but you may be able to get your dealer to swap it out., but you can download the ipl for it and see. Sure, you can MM it from the get go, but you may void the warranty. Run it stock and see how you like it.

I'm not used to the warranty idea lol the other saws were used. I've got to behave with it. But from the Snelling videos, this is one healthy light weight saw.

Put an 18" on your 360. The 241 will shine with a 14-16" bar. It's a light little saw for all day use in small material. Don't go weighing it down with a longer bar than you need.

I know this seems dumb to ask now. Would the MS261 be a better option for a one saw do it all? Felling decent size trees and still light enough to limb and buck with? Run it with an 18" bar, or have a 20" for putting them down, and a 16" for limbic and bucking?

. I haven't signed on the dotted line yet. The plain 261 (no m tronic) is $480.

If the biggest wood you're gonna tangle with is 20-24" in diameter, then a 360 will work as your big saw. A 241 goes with a 60cc saw very well. If you are gonna end up with a 70cc saw then personally I'd buy a 261 and sell the 360.
