Well the wife had a day off today, and among her other wifely chores, she set herself towards cleaning out / rearranging my tool room. About every 90 days she'll rearrange the house or just the kitchen drawers/cabinets... and just about when I can find things again...time to throw that curve-ball & mix it all up again.

I was aghast/mortified... as I HAD a sort of system going on... One where I could lay my hands on stuff pretty easily, you guys know what I'm talking about: Like the bottle of foam filter oil goes next to the spray can of K&N oil, which goes next to the spraycan of PB Blaster, so on & so forth...

Not anymore! :( I'll be hunting stuff down for the rest of time, be like some archeology professor... "Eureka! Here's that torpedo level...it's been missing since Hurricane Karen blew through here in 'ought-seven!" Probably give up & just buy more of the same... be quicker than excavating through her new system.

LOL she also got into my saw stash. "I didn't know you had FOUR chain saws... does the little one run?" ("Oh :censored: you is busted now, buddy." I thought) So she insists I get it out, and gas it up for her... so she kill a few little saplings that have been annoying her... So on with the gear and trundling off into the woodline she goes. :chainsaw: LOL that lasted no-time at all, and she points me towards a few standing dead trees... largest two maybe 6-8". Nevermind that it's gusting like 50 knots today from every direction. Ahhh... a job for the recently muffler-modded 361 ;) "Gimme that helmet, stand w-a-y back over there, and wave & yell real loud if things start to fall on me" (Like she can out-yell the saw or as if I could hear her with the muffs on)

Well that adventure was over soon enough... no skullings or other calamities. She got to kill her pesky little saplings, and help haul the remains of the rest to the burn-pile. I do wish she hadn't rearranged all my junk though. :dizzy:

Your wife didn't "bust" you for 4 saws, helped you cut wood, cleaned up brush and your complaining? Man, I'm missing something here.;)

According to the Murphy's Law Handbook, chapter 27- page 1162- sub paragraph c, you are well within your rights to demand all new stuff.

On the next page, it does go on to say not to get your hopes up and that you'll get less of an argument if you demand your new stuff while she's sleeping.

Now, you have all the right to go through her Makeup drawer and tell
her what she needs and doesn't need ...
then proceed to the closets. :hmm3grin2orange:

Good idea. Might as well move some things out to the dog house while your at it. Might as well be as comfortable as possible.:biggrinbounce2:

This is why Master makes millions of dollars every year, they produce handy items called locks. I know, my Dad always said "locks only keep the honest thieves out" but I know my wife isn't about to bust door to my workshop. Besides, we have an understanding, she won't look in my shop and I won't look in her closet.:blob2:

I can't believe you only have 4 saws, you've been here since Dec. and it's mid April, #5 should be broken in and the search should be under way for #6 or a grinder.

One time my wife trespassed in my "Fortress of Solitude" but was quicky rendered unconcious by the fumes...... I dragged her out, took her inside and propped her in a chair with an empty wine glass. The secret of the saws is preserved!!

Start fixing saws for others-- then you have a garage full and they can never figure out what's yours and what not.. and occassionally...neither can you:D

My girlfriend told me: "If you bought one more chainsaw, I'd break up with you. Something tells me that wouldn't stop you from buying one more chainsaw."

I said You're right.

She sighed and said "What one are looking at now?"

I wish you wouldnt talk about a girlfriend with that avatar of yours.
Its putting strange thoughts in Talons head

said it once before and i'll say it again.....

wife or chainsaws, you can have either but not both. The relationship just does'nt work.

i'll take my chainsaws any day.

:D

I got busted 2 weeks ago for a 338XPT and 372XP, :( her raised eyebrow told me that my explanation didn't cut it (the saws must be breeding under the dust cover........dear!!!!!)............:deadhorse:

I have paid my penance by taking her away for a couple of days.......:) ...........just ordered a 36" bar from Baileys for the 900....:computer: .........:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Now where can I hide it???.....

My wife and I have an understanding much like the other fellow. Don't mess with my stuff and your stuff won't go missing. As far as buying toys, we split the bills 50/50. As long as I have my half of the bills covered, she doesn't care what I do with the rest of my money. Same goes for her and her money. She's not cutting any firewood tho, and thank goodness for that. I count that among my "me" time.

I have no trouble with the wife vs saws, but then I don't buy new ones all the time, either........:greenchainsaw: :biggrinbounce2:
