JM IMO just get tygon 4040 or echo black oem line. I am using the black echo lines in everything now except for the smallest lines still 4040.

The Oregon labeled stuff in yellow has passed all the testing so far too.

It may of been 1100 that separated. Not sure But I dont care for the 1200 or 1500 either.
I buy the yellow oregon line with black lettering. I get it at my echo dealer. You can get it from oregon online too . I run can fuel so ethanol isnt an issue.
 
The guy I bought this badboy 3750 from seen it in the chainsaw repair group testing and ask if I would sell it back to him. I told him no problem being the guy that I was holding it for hasnt paid for it as of yet as of 6-7 months now.
Was his grandfathers saw and he was having sellers remorse. I told him it is coming back way better then received.

I had put new intake boot, like new 137 carb I had on hand to replace the 137 on it that had some blockage. New echo oem black fuel and impulse lines.

I had it set up to be tested this weekend with a little planned gtg of some saw testing in 60cc range. But since I shipped it yesterday I tested it and the echo 590 yesterday in a 8" round and 30" dry ash logs.
3750 was running perfect now.

Just so you know watch ups shipping rates as I have always used ups, but no more. They have went up sky high recently. Way more then fedex and usps. I left with the box yesterday because ups wanted $59.55 to GA for 19lb box with 300 ins, 24x16x15. fedex and usps were both way cheaper.

Looks like a great pair of saws , tell me a little about the 3750 I know the 3700. Was it the next in line after the 3700. Any info would help my knowledge big time.

3750 380 same different colors 49mm x 32mm quad transfers but slanted back open ports. 60cc. I like the series over the 3700 375 myself. Like 3750 over the 590 for weight and handling and up to the 20" bar buried. But the torque of the 590 wins out with 20" buried with its long stroke.

I dont know what each holds for mix and bar oil. But with 20" laminated bars and same full comp chains ready to use topped off was 16.8lbs 3750 v/s 18.2lbs 590
 
Anyone know the initial carb settings for the Poulan 295? Cant seem to find the sweet spot spot get it running.

Hey Bob , my chainsaw manual says the initial adjustment of idle and high speed mixture needles is one turn open from lightly seated position .

It worked on my PP295 .
 
Started on a project 3450 that suppose to be a runner. Replacing the lines I notice it has a hda49 on it. So throw a hda164 on it (unknown condition as came on another parts saw but looked new) and cant get it running. Pulled 164 apart cant see anything really wrong with the kit. So going to throw a nos hda137 on it and see.
That did the trick. She is a runner. New NOS carb on 2 pulls pops, 3rd pull running.

With the automatic oil pump and no anti-vibe it will be one of the three you noted. Perhaps you are asking for trouble posting that photo in this thread...

If it has a DSP (compression release) it will be a 795 or 7937...block number 66251 indicates a 797, 63629 is a 795, no compression release is a 790.

I was thinking I posted it in the wrong thread and I should check. But, I forgot to do that as well.

When I saw your name I knew I had before I even looked.
Thankfully, you have a few Poulans too.

Surely a geezer will be cut a break by the diehard Poulan guys.
