Do you have a digital volt-ohm meter? If so, set it to ohms, and check continuity between the contact spring/ and the cylinder block, moving the switch between any position and the off position. This would verify that the switch, therefore kill wire, is working and to prove that the kill wire is not interfering with run operation. You should read open in any switch position except for off position, which should read either 0 ohms or “ shorted”.

And yes, when you have fuel In The tank, with the cap on, you will have leakage out the end of the fuel line when it’s disconnected from the carb. Open the cap, and it’ll stop gravity feeding fuel out the end of the line.

Contact spring is not broken, just checked it. Same goes for wire of kill switch. Leak down test seems complicated, don't you need a special kit for that? And as for the hoses, there is one odd thing, and that is the fuel line from the tank to the carb. With the carb disconnected, it keeps spitting fuel, even when held upright. Is this normal ?

Looks like a cylinder hold down bolt is missing!
Great eye nailed it.That's the Vac leak

Is this your saw?

Get an envelope and put a little money in it each time you get paid to put towards a Sthil. It sounds like you rely pretty heavily on the saw. I purchased all mine as parts saws because I couldn't afford a new one.

My guess is you where in a deep cut and blew a crank seal. It's just a guess as I couldn't find anything on google about that brand of saw. You say the piston and cylinder look good so you hopefully stopped running it before any damage was done. As far as stopping it im not sure I would continue to use the brake as my means of stopping it. Will it stop if you put the choke on?

look like the leak was found read back from here.

It is a Zenoah. Nothing wrong with these saws, they are a straight forward solid design and parts are cheap and available on ebay. The bar and chain they come with are often junk but the rest of the saw is good value for the cost. You just had a massive air leak that was leaning out the mix, could happen with any saw. Many people on this sight would like you to believe Stihl and Husky are the only saws worth buying.

Ok so I just removed the cilinder and the second bolt snapped. The first one got out easily. But now i'm even more screwed with the second bolt. Ive spent the last hour drilling and cutting but nothing works. I just cant get any grip on the remaining part. And I need the screwthread to remain intact. I already damaged part of it. So now I have to figure out how to solve this. But that will be for tomorrow, because it is already night here in Belgium. Thanks for all the help until now, and I will keep you guys posted whatever happens tomorrow.
