These are the dog days for Power Equipment shops. They are all dying from the broken landscaping equipment. My bet is that Terry is just swamped.


Been slow here. Had just a snowblower, yard tractor, a saw aND a few loops of chain to grind all week. Gets busy in the spring and fall.

Fine by me though, I'd rather not fuss with that stuff at all.
 
I ‘d like to add that I ordered a new ported husky 390 around Feb 2018 approx $1300 paid in full, 8 months later and no saw, after numerous emails no response . I think I ve been ripped.

I really dont understand why so many people are having problems...not saying they are not.
I sent my brand new 395 to him the last week of April...had it back first week of June. Sent my 562 out ...had it back in 6 weeks. He always returned my emails...if not same day ...it was within a few days.
Sooo...i cant say nothing negative....
 
Is it possible some of the tropical storms have disrupted his communications? I agree that customers shouldn't have to be in the dark when they have paid for something.
 
I actually had a fella from LA contact me after seeing this and he wanted to get me on the phone. We had a long conversation, hell of a nice guy. Needless to say, I took up for the wrong guy here. I'd had a saw out to a dude that I had heard had some life problems at the same time the rumors about Terry's issues were circulating. If I convinced anyone to send him anything because of this thread I apologize. PM me and we can discuss it.

Experience, experience my friend. When this all works out for OP neither of you will return to follow up. I have a saw that's been out for five months that I have a grand into. Am I blowing up his phone? Nope. This ain't Amazon you're dealing with.

It does sound that way. I should have added who the saw was out to. It was another builder who had some struggles last year and quit doing saws. No, not THAT guy...
