My neighbor and I use a 25 ton Cub Cadet which is powered by a Honda engine. It's been a great machine we've split nearly 20 cord over the past 3 years with it. The Honda motor is a dream, starts first pull. I almost always use the splitter in the vertical mode since we end up with massive rounds here in New England.

We added an hour meter for tracking maintenance and besides normal oil changes and lubricating the beam, it hasn't needing anything.
