Did some cleaning on the 295 yesterday. Mostly the covers. Hoping to deep clean the motor and whatā€™s still attached to it today. Asking myself once again, ā€œWhen am I ever going to make some block off plates for intake/ exhaust ports?ā€ Guess Iā€™ll be doing the ol stuff a rag in the hole trick again.

Couldnā€™t check over and didnā€™t care myself. Will see whatā€™s up later. Poulan 4000

Was just buying for parts.

But looks like it will clean up nice if it can be a runner.

. The recoil bolts were just loose. So not a broken spring or pulley. All good. Peeked though the plug hole and cylinder looked like new. Had some crap plug in it so throw a ngk and see if she will fire off in a bit. Crap fuel line ran it it and didnt check tank vent lint. But looks mint inside low hour homeowner owned saw.

If you have spare parts to sell from it, I will have one on the bench myself soon I hope!
I have a red 3.7 3700 I been parting instead of fixing. Have a red 3.7 3700 and grey 3.0 that is really a 3.4 3400 selling as runners.

What parts just message here or FB.

Any one see the 5200 full wrap handle on eBay 600.00 or best offer.
What's everyone's thinking on this? Initially I'm at wow, that's just crazy. At best, that saw is 42 years old right? However, i'm guessing that bar/chain is 24" and looks pretty newish....$100 bucks if I had to just buy that. Then, it's got a full wrap bar...$100 bucks right there if one ever popped up on Ebay. So, in reality lets say its more like a $400 85CC saw. Then, look how many 306A or 245A have recently sold for $250 plus....5200 is much more saw than either of those two models. So really, this saw is only $150.
I just convinced myself to buy it right now, THANKS for the nudge everyone.

I know you didn't. If that's the case, there's an ATV running around the house that needs an exhaust system I can't stand the hear. Fellow down the road won't miss it, til he goes to ride it.

Did my wackadoodle way of thinking convince you to go steal someone's atv exhaust?

She runs to cut another day,
Got lucky. Lot of little things why he couldnā€™t get started .
I just happen to know where to go on these homeowner saws that get neglected.
I always try to save first. Before parting.
1 fly fin missing.
Auto and manual oilers work. win win.

I don't think it's all that high. Not just looking at it in parts, either. For someone that wants that saw, what are the odds of finding one in that condition being sold by the original owner? They are far from a common saw anyway, at least in my area. Two ways to look at it - over 40 years old - so it is worn out OR 40 years old in prime condition, sold by the original owner. For a collector looking for an old, classic, big bore countervibe that could be a steal.
