They can bring pretty good money on sites like fleabay. Parts, including such mundane things as muffler parts, can be hard to find.
After doing some research, are they only desirable because of the Texas chainsaw massacre movie or are they valuable regardless of that?

Been moving my poulan stuff off the shelves. If you need something might ask. I'll post a pic if I have.

All the NOS oilers sold. Got a few NOS worm gears left in metal and plastic. Some used too.

Cylinders pistons went quick too after posting pic for folks asking what I had left. All the 505 cylinders pistons sold. 425 and 445 sold. The 415 c left and a 475 p usable left. Some other smalls too. NOS base gaskets etc.

I know no CV 34 37 39 40 choke levers. Maybe on the 3.3 cover. Pic of the AF cover etc. Some shiny and smooth some dull etc.

Is it the grey 3.3? Handle on cover or on top handle?

Some old parts saws I need to check from these old pics.

This is a little off topic, so I'll add couple saw pics too. LOL I took down a recent storm damaged red Oak. Top half of tree was rotten in center, and when it hit the ground, few sections split open. Was full of these GIANT grubs. Biggest I have ever seen. They are at least the size of my little finger.
Near as I can tell, they will be some kind of beetle. Curious if you fellas run across these. I have seen a lot of grubs, but not this size.

Been using my favorite Poulan saw a lot lately. The 4000, along with its lighter little brother, the 3000. They make a great pair. The older I get, I really have taken a shine to the 3000. Light weight, but still plenty of power to handle good size wood. I use a number of saws, depending on the job, but for general all around use, I will pick a 4000 with 20" bar, just love that saw!

Yes , I have seen those large grubs in wood that I have split . They were about 1/2" diameter and about 2" long .

Gregg,
I'm liking that Dixie can't hook. Those things are top quality back savers for sure.

Gregg,

We call them huhu grubs here but probably a different beast. Taste like peanut butter
