Wut is this stuffed sausage thing all about??? I STIHL don't get it!
Kevin is a saw porter, and he is a little portly, so he refers to himself as sausage fingers. The XS stickers he puts on his saws stand for Xtra Sausage!

I have met him (at a GTG in PA) and run some of his creations (Stihl and Husky) and they run very well.

Got to the scraggly wood pile and cut for about 25 minutes. Every time I run the 400 it gets better. If you had to have a one saw plan I don't think there's a better option in the Stihl lineup.

Got a small load. That will heat my house for 1-2 weeks depending on temp.

Here's how I keep my tanks clean. It an old parts cleaning brush.

Holy crap, still no snow? I haven't been through your neck of the woods in a month or so, figured you'd at least have enough to cover up the leaves!

This has been a terrible winter from a snow standpoint. Every system we've had has been wet snow. The lake is so warm that we've gotten mostly rain/slush. 10-15 miles west there's 6-10" in the woods. I feel bad for the snowmobilers here. The trails never opened last year and it's not looking good this year.

I don't know as I'd call him portly, he's a big dude, with hands the size of a catcher's mit.

My grandmother was Martha York, Alvin’s Neice.

I seem to remember my dads 98 with the 5.7 Vortex having coil packs, but I could be wrong.
We were talking about his 97 truck the truck lines kept the old style rear distributors well after the cars went to OptiSpark which was a real POS deal

Low compression.
My 327 in the 1968 Fleetside has a bad cam lobe . Going to pull the motor to refresh it . Had good compression 160-5 psi before the cam went so hopefully just a polish on the crank new bearings and rings for the lower and of course a new cam . I have a set of rebuilt heads ready for installation . 98B5FCAC-3B08-447A-8854-A6C9BD2ED14E.jpeg

Was it a newer camshaft? There have been some bad cam blanks in the last 5 years. Also I'm sure you run oil with enough ZDDP(zinc) in it. We add 1/2 a bottle of this when we change oil on classic vehicles without roller lifters.Screenshot_20230211-182530_Chrome.jpg

Rebuilt at 99k truck has167k on it now. I put 15k on it using this oil made for flat tappet engines . Have no idea what they used before I bought it . This isn’t the corvette 327 but it does have the forged crank71A23EB3-9FD3-484E-A1BB-948E7DA0E0E8.jpeg

That saw don't look dirty enough to use that brush on yet lol.
I like that quad, I'd like to get another, just mentioned that to the boy about an hr ago. Maybe if I sell the little tractor, since I sold the old honda foreman and my exmark so I could keep the first small tractor.
Speaking of tractors, I had mine out a bit this evening, couldn't stay inside all day.
Did a bit more cleaning in the pond, got a bit of a mess to clean up now.

Dang bro! You operating that remotely? Looks like a transformer 😆.

The 2.3 ltr 5 speed was faster than the 302 auto, and got better gas mileage ... I averaged 26 MPG with it. It was a good car for it's time.

I bought the extended warranty on in (only time I ever did that), so when the turbo needed to be replaced, I was covered (I kept all my maintenance records). Guys at Ford were laughing like crazy, said I was the only one that kept good enough records to beat the warranty company.

The T-Birds had more room than the Mustangs and I had 2 girls, so it worked as family cars.
My cousin has a clapped out turbo coupe when we were kids. It was a fun sporty car. Did lots of mean one leggers with it.
5 - Stihl
5-both..

Like the Wyoming plate.

Actually did a little wood work today. Cleaning up the but ends and non splitters today, and made a bunch of noodles from a pine but. Decided to run the "4" saws... ms400 and gz4000.
A buddy ended up calling before I could finish. Haven't talked to him in a long while. By the time we hung up it was dark. Good thing the Japanese wheel barrow has lights on it!
