Reminds me of when I was milling some Chestnut Oak ... and there was an electrical insulator in the middle of the wood!

Boy did that stop the chain! Metal ain't nothin!
I hit a j-hook while using my chainsaw mill... it had been used to hang a clothesline pully decades earlier and had been absorbed by the tree. It took a bunch of teeth right off the chain!

Ha, done that, lol...7' Monterey Cyprus log...ruined 2 chains. What a nightmare...
 
Yep I remember going to the local A&P and getting green stamps as a kid. Just a word of warning for us old farts I saw some one try to trade the green stamp book on pawn stars and they gave her nothing.
Dang u mean they aren't worth anything anymore? I was finally going to use mine soon.
 
Just figured out where @Kodiak Kid is. He started birthday partying :drinking: Saturday and was last seen zig zagging out in the bush in his skid loader wearing only his chaps. :surprised3:

He's still cleaning up after greasing his Skiddy, he got it from the neck down.....

Nothing is worth nothing. I have gas and food books from WWII. My mom’s, dad owned a grocery store so they didn’t need them. They gave books for every member of the family, even new borns. I think I have 8-10 of them. Checked eBay, worth nothing. I have several full and new empty green stamp books too.
