I have the Hexa chain on it Mike, I really like it for noodling. That ash was dead for a while and was pretty gnarly.

I may start my shopping after Christmas. Better prices. Less crowded. Hate to rush into it tho. Then again there is always next year.
My older daughter was born on Christmas Eve. My now ex and her ended up spending Christmas Eve night in the hospital and they let her out the next day. Usually it’s a 2 to 3 day stay after having a baby, but she was doing well and she was our fourth kid so they figured they’d be OK letting them out after about 24 hours.
We had to fib to the older kids that the 25th is actually Christmas Eve and Santa came that night… we did pull it off although an old guy at the hospital almost blew our cover as we were walking out.

I live across the river from St. Louis in IL, so I get their news as my local news. I don't have/carry a hand gun BUT I have nothing against anyone who does. Like you said, just as long as they have the proper training.
St Louis came up with a new law allowing an open carry. News stories about teens carrying guns openly down the streets. Increase in shootings. Now the city has done a partial reverse to counteract the increase. I don't follow the news that much, so I can't be accurate in my description.
I bet if they had some sort of screening process, guns wouldn't be getting into the hands of the irresponsible. Or at least reduce it.

Christmas gift giving at our house is at 7pm on the 24th....still have almost two and a half days lol.Don't rush into it man, there's still plenty of time.....

I have seen several people declined when trying to buy a handgun. Wonder if they knew they had to pass check or if the figured they could answer no and they would get approved.
Well even though this wood was dried for three years it still had stress in it ,started to crack so I cut it and added a piece of maple to it. Let the glue dry overnight and I’ll shape it 
Maybe make it into a Viking ship for my grandson 
And not to be a smarty pants either, but you should have to get proper training to say what you want too. Then again, maybe you forgot, it's a right, not a privilege

I find if you give all yr, you don't feel the guilt so many do around Christmas, almost as if it's something that shouldn't be crammed into a couple weeks of the yr.
