Carlton SP4012

Thinking of upgrading our 27 Hp 2500-4 to the 4012 w/ 44 Hp Kubota diesel. Anyone used the 44 Hp Kubota and how did you like it?

I've been running the 33HP on 4x4 SP4012 for 4 years - very nice!!! The 44HP adds another cylinder. I've seen it cut - definitely more power than my 33HP - which was a huge improvement from 27HP.

I don't think the 44HP is a beginner machine - hard to see what you are cutting - the engine is pretty big and in the way.

If you haven't bought a maching yet I'm thinking of selling my 4012' it is a whole iot faster than my old 252 was. It has the sandvik wheel and toyota made 35 hp engine. I bought it for a backup but just don't use it enough to justify keeping it. I have it listed under classifieds. It only has 70 hours /2010 model

Maybe catch up with mowingman, the proud new owner of a 44hp SP4012.....(lucky so&so) :hmm3grin2orange:
