The spelling part is easy: down below the reply box, right next to the "Submit Reply" button is a "Spell Check" button that works pretty good.to be as thourow (spl?) as I can. ( i can fix just about anything I set my mind to as long as grammer and spelling

Your pics remind me of when I was first thinking about getting a "real saw" while I was still in Michigan. I came across a character who collected saws from farm auctions, cleaned them up, and then put them, and I am not kidding, in a big PILE of saws in his garage in a suburban neighborhood outside of Detroit, and then had a listing for "chainsaws" on CL. Most of them were pre-chain brake saws, and your photo of the light blue Homelite reminded me of one of the ones he had.
He liked the old saws becuase they had reed valves in the carbs, and manual oilers, and no chain brakes. He did not collect Stihl's or Husky's, but just about everything else, and some pretty darn large saws with huge bars, but definitely on the edge of antiques. I didn't buy one from him, though I wish I had more time just to look at all the various McCulloch's and Homelites and Wards and you-name-it that he had. Did not appear to be interested in any cosmetic appearance, just functionality.
