    How to respond to oak tree damage?

    I lost a large limb from an important red oak in a storm the night of 7/11/17. The wound covers an area of about 10 sq ft and is 20-25 feet in the air. Trees had suffered oak wilt less than a hundred yards away. Please let me know whether you think something should be done to protect this tree...

    Crabapple Dying?

    My raindrop crabapple was planted this April, and has done great all summer long (I'm in Oklahoma). This week, about 1/4 the leaves have started turning yellow/orange and are falling off. Is this normal? What can I do? Another thought, it has cooled off quite a bit in the last couple of weeks...
