015 Stihl give me the low down .

I just bought one from a garage sale . The bar an chain sucks a lot of rust . I pulled the cord look it over good before I bought it . Got it home put a new plug in it bottle feed it started right up an ran strong . The chain was no were sharp even after I tried to sharpen it . I'm not going to be in bucket truck our climbing trees with it . I just want to trim branches from trees on the ground . I just want a good chain .

Strong old saw but parts no longer available. Stihl 3/8 picco chain is good.

You will have to go with the pitch/ chain that the bar and sprocket is.

My 015 runs a 1/4 .050d 13RM chain, 14" sprocket tip bar. Ran OK last time I had it out. Useful saw but a shelf queen for me, mostly for demonstration now.
Absolutely keep E-10 out of it...
