I did that once on a 032, but one of the old rings was still in spec so I used it

Put the old bottom ring on that piston and use the remaining new caber on the top. Many delete the bottom ring for added performance. You’ll be just fine.

I do it in most of my builds. It’s preferable if the second ring isn’t in bad shape.

You get a broken in low tension 2nd ring for heat transfer that causes less friction and the business ring is brand spamking new.
