028 -Pitch or fix

Went to look at an 038 yesterday. Ended up being an 028 w a 46mm bore. Needs a piston and cylinder, muffler, engine cover, and everything else on the chain cover side. Worth fixing?

I concur with "old guy" its parts.
Never really understood the 028, when the 026 was available in a more nimble package.
Some parts for the 028 are challenging to locate, and prices are much higher as compared to similar parts for a 026.

Great trade! Put a 346XP cylinder and piston on that crankcase and you'll have an excellent saw.
