028 woodboss question

Total chainsaw mechanic newby....pulled apart the sprocket side to take a look at the pump. Sucker leaks oil like crazy. The thrust washer at the end of the crank held on with the circlip has 5 nubs on one side...nubs go out?

Judging from the IPL they appear to go out.

Runs fine with them out.
