028 woodboss rear handle

Hello fellas. This is my first post, so bear with me. I was given an 028 WB with a broken handle. The entire rear part of the saw is gone. What I need to know is if the plastic handle/gas tank will work on this saw. It originally had a metal handle. Any help with this, or finding a handle, sure would be appreciated, thanks.

I've swapped a few around with no problems.

I have a whole parts saw if you want it. It has a metal handle.

Yes, but you'll have to change out the AV mount screws if your going from metal to plastic.

I have seen the metal handles on FleaBay. You could try there if you want to stay with metal.

I'd probably just buy Jason's aka Bowtie's part saw. You will probably be able to buy it for not much more than the price of just a gas tank assembly off ebay.
