084 Handle Molding Removal

My service manual does not show how it comes off and I'd prefer not to break it.
So how does the rear of the molding come off? Does it slide back or just pop straight out?

There's a screw from the bottom on the tail end of it. It's probably plugged up with mud.

No, I have a hard copy service manual for my 088. I wish I had a genuine 084 sevice manual.
