084 rebuild for sale at local stihl dealer

Was into my local stihl/toro dealer to get some new mower blades.I was cking out the saws,they have an 084 that was rebuilt with 30" bar for 1395$. I don't the story on this saw,the guy who rebuilt it wasn't there today.Its in fremont ,ohio,Willie's sale and service.Just putting on here if someone was looking for one.

It's about $400 over priced.

I just sold a 084 with a brand new OEM Stihl top end, complete carb overhaul, fuel lines, sprocket,
air filter, and new 36" .404 Stihl bar and chain for $950


and a 088 for $1100 powerhead only.

I got into my 084 for $650 with a 36" shipped to my door from the boards so.. Way over priced. If one was looking they are out there to be had for ok..ish money just got to have cash and be ready

There's one on Craigslist near me and the guy wants 1300 and change. Has a 20"bar. I thought it was absurd and dismissed it as soon as i saw the price. Guess this post confirms my suspicions.
