After trying numerous methods this is by far the best I've come across. The 084 tank of course is NLA and I wanted to make the tank look as new as possible. So after researching i came across hydrogen perioxide method which consisted of going to a beauty store Sally's in my area and buying the strongest concentration i could find available to the general public. The bottle comes in 4 strengths 10, 20, 30, 40 i went with 40 (5$ and I have enough to do 20+ tanks) and was told its 12% hydrogen perioxide. The method is simple take the product and coat all the surfaces of the tank, wrap in clear plastic, and sit in the sun for 6hrs flipping it around so the light hits all surfaces of the tank. The UV light from the sun helps bleach out all dirt and oil thats stains the tank. I've heard blacklights work but not as well. The results speak for themselves.
