I have the poulan 3700 version (thin ring)
Friend and I cut down a ton of wood at my house and I need a new chain for it. I'll try a fresh Oregon with a slightly different profile and see. I have my work cut out with these big oak pieces. (We've already cut them up some to gain full access to the driveway again)

Too bad you don't have the Poulan 5400 big brother to that saw. I've got one of those too with a 32" bar. They aren't speed demons, but they will grunt through anything.

Believe me, I've been eyeing options and may just get my wish if the big oak pieces take some time to cut up. I'm digging the Makita 6412 I've seen on the marketplace and I've seen some good options on Stihls locally on Facebook. Don't see a point in buying new with so many good options used.
Where are you in Virginia?
Chain shopping for my homelite 330 and it also takes that chain. Must be a very common size fits at least five of mine. As stated above what part of Virginia?
