Wood

I may go but not 100% on this one. Went to last years too, I however have 1 less to haul down there. You going to have any wood to chop on, like some 8X8 or something along those lines.

If ya'll tell me what you want for 8" like round I can cut up some small logs to chop, like ya'll standing axe chop or something is what you were talking about right???

pretty much just something soft to chop on, axes are expensive. maybee a couple of 8" square or round, and maybee a couple of something bigger like 12-14".

Scott

Can't make it, I have a pedicure scheduled that day.

Does the 8-10th work for you? :monkey::monkey::monkey:

So how about classes for the saw racing? I'm assuming there will a be a open hotsaw class, what about the work saws? I think last year was 0-50cc, 0-70cc, 0-100cc or something like that. What's the plan for this year?

Planned time for Arboristsite GTG is Saturday with a Sunday "Rain date"

Scott

I guess that I gotta hope it rains on you guys on Saturday, eh?

Seriously, how long do you think things will run on Sat? If I zip out of here right at noon, I'd get there between 1:30 and 2:00. Things should still be hopping right?

I still haven't decided if I'm going or not, have you decided anything on the racing? Wood? Classes? start time?

The Pine Logs are here and the bandmill is here I was going to mill this weekend but as stated in other threads We had a death in the family and have services and other things this weekend. As far as size of the cant's you want to race in let me know??

Scott

Sorry to hear that Scott, I had missed that. Pine is nice stuff for racing. as for the size, It doesnt matter to me. 8x8, 10x10, 12" rounds are all common. I see a lot of 8x8's because it uses up less wood.
