Ok I waiting for parts for my husqvarna 2101. I saw a pic of a muffler with "louvers" on the front. My muffler has a round opening on the break side and a square on the front that looks like it would be a perfect place for these louvers. If I did this would I gain anything? Also I've heard you guys talk about taking the head gasket out and increasing the squish. If I did this to my saw would I have to do any grinding on the intake or exhaust ports, and would there be a noticeable gain? I'm pretty mechanical, but grinding on the ports worries me, I don't know what I'm doing there and don't want to screw it up. I love my saw, and as soon as I get it back together I'm gonna love it more, but im just thinking of improvements at the moment.
