Jonsered Web Page on 359

A power pack for the professional lumberjack with strict requirements for power, control and design. With its 60 cc of raw power and a highly competitive power-to-weight ratio, this saw is just as good for felling really big trees as it is for limbing and cross-cutting

So I think yes.

It is but i would pick the 2156 over the 2159 everytime

2159 59.0cc 4.1hp 13,800max rpm
2156 56.5cc 4.4hp 14,000max rpm

It is marketed as pro on some markets, but far from all.

In spite of differing marketing, it is no doubt that it has pro saw quality.

Once modded by the right hands the 2159 can become a handful just like the 359 Husky. Both are great saws, just pick your favorite color.

2159

cutting wood this winter my friend was using his 036 stihl and i was using my 2159.we were both using new chains in 3/8 and 16 " bars.i couldn't see a big difference in the two,if anything his 036 seemed to bog in the cut more.i think with a muffler mode the2159 would be a snappy little number.

The 2159/359 is a sleeper, may be one of the best saws out of Sweden.

By nature pro, but can be sold in diferent places as pro or in some regions as non pro. Like Stihl MS280 is sold in some places as "mid range saw", in some places as the pro saw
