Salve a tutti, vi scrivo dall'Italia, anche io ho una 2171 da circa 2 mesi e mi trovo molto bene, anche se ancora un po' legata, (l'ho usata poco, perchè ho anche motoseghe piu' piccole e quindi la uso solo per abbattimento di alberi grandi)

Yeah but it's the 372's much sexier twin sister. Straight handle or not Troll you have to admit she's a beauty of a saw. Merry Christmas Troll.
I agree on the sexier looks.
The lack of the option of an high air filter/cover may make a difference to some though (not to me). My 372xpg has thew low one, and it is perfectly adekvate here.

great saws, sexy as hell tbh, but I ordered one in orange with a crooked top handle.
Here's mine , not a great pic but it gets a fair amount of use and I have no issues about the straight handle , when using the saw for felling it is on it's side and it doesn't slow it down when bucking or limbing .
I couldn't have said it better.

The 2171 is a nice saw.I almost got one with the drag and bag deal but decided on a rebuilt 371XP that I had Snellerized.Now I have a rebuilt ported 71cc saw for about the same price as new stock one.

I took Spanish in HS, a salesman at my company sells some product in Brazil (Portugese), and I've had to deal with technical questions from there.
But as close as I can come to Italian, (a long way away)Drago says He's from Italy, has had his 2171 for about 2 months, and needs it because his other saws are too small for big trees.

i think he said the jonsereds is big and the greatest saw ever....also some thing about walking slowly by the pool while carrying power tools,and toyota sucks.

Lots of folks on this board love their 2171s...me included. I prefer their straight handle over the Husky, and I've got a phenomenal dealer. He deals in saws and sharpening only...and he only carries Jonsered.
As to the Dolmar...which peninsula do you live on here in MI? There's only one dealer here in the Detroit area, and their claim to fame is that they flat-out suck. They only carry the home-owner saws...not a 5100 or 7900 in sight.

I live 1/2 way between Lansing and Flint. Have really good Jonsered, Husqvarna and Stihl dealers, but no Dolamr (that I know of). Kinda wondered about the "suck" part. I know and deal with a lot of wood cutters and loggers. None of them use a Dolmar. But never having used one, I'm not going to bad mouth them.
