I am amazed at the differences between each bar! Is that due to a better roller tip, better oiling, better???

Are you going to get weights off of each as well? I am particularly interested in the 24" Sugi 050 vs 25" Stilh 050.

This is really interesting. I never would have thought there would have been such a difference in temperature between bars. I would have to think that lower temperatures would lead to longer lives for all of the different components? Thanks for sharing the results.

For the most part the tsumura is always on or next to the top in all of your comparisons, might have to look into one next time I'm due for a bar

...yeah if you want a light bar Tsumura seems to be the best. Regular weight bar Cannon. Both run cool and fast. and thus the Saw (jug) runs cooler...that's ok by me! Seems to be the case with any length. (I tested 20 24 28 32 36")

*note - I've only really tested the Wide tip (super bar PLUS) Cannons. The one narrow tip (28" super bar) I tested did run slower. I have a 36" so I'll test that in the future.

why a light bar - you would think the approx .5 - 1lb drop in weight wouldn't make THAT much of a difference. But it does. The balance point changes...it's a whole different saw with a light bar....yeah I'm hooked lol
